1. That the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person.
2. That when you are in love, it shows.
3. I’ve learned that just one person saying to me, “You’ve made my day!” makes my day.
4. I’ve learned that having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful and precious feelings in the world.
5. I’ve learned that being kind is more important than being right.
6. I’ve learned that you should never say no to a gift from a child.
7. I’ve learned that I can always pray for someone when I don’t have the strength to help him or her in other ways.
8. I’ve learned that no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everybody needs a friend to act goofy with.
9. I’ve learned that sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand.
10. I’ve learned that when a loved one can’t see the light, I will sit with them in the dark.
11. I’ve learned that the days may be long, but the years fly right on by.
12. I’ve learned that money isn’t what brings happiness.
13. I’ve learned that the secret of living is giving.
14. I’ve learned that it’s those small daily rituals that makes like spectacular.
15. I’ve learned that under everyone’s hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated, respected and loved.
16. I’ve learned that the Lord didn’t do it all in one day. What makes me think I can?
17. I’ve learned that to ignore the facts do not change the facts.
18. I’ve learned that who you are is who you surround yourself with.
19. I’ve learned that when you plan to get even with someone, you are only letting that person continue to hurt you.
20. I’ve learned that setting boundaries is healthy.
21. I’ve learned that standing up for yourself is a crucial part of building self-respect and maintaining healthy boundaries.
22. I’ve learned you should never trust a fart. LOL
23. I’ve learned that love, not time heals all wounds.
24. I’ve learned that the easiest way to grow as a person is to surround myself with people who are smarter than I am.
25. I’ve learned that everyone you meet deserves to be greeted with a smile.
26. I’ve learned that it’s not what you say it’s how you say it.
27. I’ve learned that you could never get in trouble for telling a truth.
28. I’ve learned that there is nothing sweeter than sleeping with your babies and feeling their breath on your cheek.
29. I’ve learned that life is tough, but I am tougher.
30. I’ve learned that opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.
31. I’ve learned that life stops when you stop growing.
32. I’ve learned that reading for 30 minutes every day, knowledge is power.
33. I’ve learned that when you harbor bitterness that happiness will dock elsewhere.
34. I’ve learned I wish I could have told my grandfather and grandmother one last time that I loved them before they passed away.
35. I’ve learned that you should always tell your loved ones how much they are loved by you and what they mean to you while you are alive.
36. I’ve learned that one should keep her words soft and tender, because tomorrow you may have to eat them.
37. I’ve learned that in order to get respect, you have to give it.
38. I’ve learned that when a child is having a meltdown that it’s my job not to join in on their Chaos.
39. I’ve learned that people will disappoint you every time.
40. I’ve learned that a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
41. I’ve learned that I can’t choose how I feel, but I can choose what I do about it.
42. I’ve learned that everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you’re climbing it.
43. I’ve learned that it’s best to give advice in only two circumstances; when it is requested and when it is a life threatening situation.

44.I’ve learned that the less time I have to work with, the more things I get done.

45. I’ve learned that it’s not about what you have in life, but who you have in your life.

46. I’ve learned that giving is so much better than receiving.

47. I’ve learned that hard work pays off.

48. I’ve learned that my family is my world.

49. I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

50. I’ve learned that being a mother and a special education teacher are two of the best feelings in the world.

51. I’ve learned about friends is that the good ones are rare.

52. I’ve learned the power behind NO.

53. I’ve learned that having a sister is a built in best friend for life.

54. I’ve learned that I love my son more than life itself.

55. I’ve learned that driving in the car with the radio blasting and the windows rolled down singing your heart out is the best feeling in the world.

56. I’ve learned that when I became a parent, I understood my parents and I love them for it.

57. I’ve learned that it’s okay to act like a kid.

58. I’ve learned that laughter is the best medicine.

59. I’ve learned its okay not to be okay.

60. Lastly, I’ve learned that God is real and he is so good.
