My Project
The specific items requested like the Rattan Floor Lamps for Living Room, Boho Standing Lamps with Rattan & Linen Double Shades will allow for light to come into my classroom. It will allow my students to see when they read in the reading nook area of the classroom.
The other materials that I asked for like the Apple iPad, 6 mental health children’s books, laminator kit, video camera, bean bag chairs and rug will help with the importance of mental health awareness in schools.
These items will allow for my students to get in touch with their social emotional learning. These items will allow my students to connect with their senses. Everything requested will make a difference in their learning by providing a variety of engaging and accessible learning materials that cater to different learning styles, allowing students to actively participate, visualize complex concepts, and reinforce understanding through hands-on activities, ultimately leading to deeper comprehension and improved retention of information and deeply meaningful relationships.
Mindfulness and Relaxation Tools: Materials like the bean bag chair and lamps, rug, mental health books can be used in my mindfulness nook, which will allow to the students to destress and can help my students manage their anxiety and stress that they may be experiencing in the classroom.
I am creating a inviting classroom that allows students to feel connected to me beyond schoolwork, giving my students opportunities to chat with me individually about each of their lives, interests, hobbies, and lifestyles.
My students are all individuals with unique qualities that allow them to learn and develop differently from each other.
Implementing a combination of these materials creates a nurturing classroom environment that prioritizes student well-being, fosters open discussions about mental health, and equips students with the tools they need to navigate their emotional challenges.
